Refund and Return Policy

Returns, Refunds and Exchange

If you return an item in its *original condition, requesting a refund/exchange within 30 days of receiving it, we'll give you a full refund by way of the original payment method. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)

If you request a refund for an item during the above time frames but you can't return it to us for some reason, please get in touch - but any refund will be at our discretion.

We don't accept returns for unwanted items after the relevant returns period above. If you try to make a return, we may have to send it back to your default delivery address and ask you to cover the delivery costs.

*Original condition

If an item is returned to us damaged, worn or in an unsuitable condition, we won't be able to give you a refund and we may have to send it back to you (and ask you to cover the delivery costs). All items are inspected on return.

Returning a Faulty or Incorrect Item

As soon as you discover a fault, please contact our Customer Care Team using one of the options below. You'll need to provide your order number, details of the faulty item, and a photo or video of the fault.

Once orders are placed, they are not able to be edited, added too or cancelled.

If you place your order over a weekend or on a public holiday it will be processed the next business day (Monday - Friday).

Please note: Shipping times are a guideline and subject to change. You may experience slightly longer delivery times during peak periods (Sales periods etc), due to COVID-19, due to wild weather, or due to other Australia Post, Startrack or any other Delivery service delivery issues that are unforeseen or unavoidable events beyond THE PLACES WE Studio's reasonable control. Online orders are processed and shipped from Melbourne, Victoria and so we follow any Victorian Public Holidays.


Orders placed on this website can only be delivered within Australia.

If you are based overseas, we are happy to assist you. Simply CONTACT US. We will calculate your shipping costs when you place your order. We use Australia Post postage calculation found here.

Any additional taxes or duties applied by customs at the destination country are the responsibility of the delivery recipient. Please note in accordance with Australian export regulations we are required to declare the exact value of all items and identify the order as dutiable “merchandise” and are prohibited by law from identifying an order as a “gift” for export purposes.

Your local customs office will be able to assist you with any further information regarding taxes, duties and customs.
